Definition
Each tour or excursion described on the website is considered to be a package tour.
A user or consumer/client is considered to be any natural or legal person who purchases or agrees to purchase the package tour.
Legal Framework and Acceptance
The information contained in the website description is binding for the organizer and the retailer with the exceptions outlined below. Booking any of the trips included in this website implies full acceptance of these general conditions, which are automatically incorporated into the contract without the need for written transcription.
Applicable legislation includes Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, Royal Decree-Law 23/2018, Law 7/1998, Decree 13/2011, and Decree 6/2013. These General Conditions will apply to all contracts, alongside specific terms or travel documents.
Organizer
All tours and excursions are organized by Jon Iveson with NIE: Y0259436X and address at C/ Jeronimo de Monsoriu, nº 88 – 5º 10, 46022 Valencia, Spain.
Price
The package tour price includes transport, applicable indirect taxes (e.g., VAT) and all other services explicitly mentioned in the program or contract.
Exclusions
The price does not include extras such as meals or drinks (unless otherwise stated in the trip description) or any service not explicitly listed as included. Tips to guides and staff are also excluded.
Payment and Refunds
At the time of reservation, full payment of the total trip price is required. If the client declines an alternative proposal when services are unavailable, the full price will be refunded.
Withdrawal by the Consumer
Consumers may withdraw at any time but must compensate the organizer as follows:
– Individual services: Full management and cancellation fees.
– Group tours: 5% if cancelled 15–10 days before departure; 15% for 10–3 days; 25% within 48 hours; 100% for no-shows. Special economic conditions may alter these fees.
Modifications or Cancellations by Organizer
If the contract is cancelled by the organizer, the client is entitled to a refund or a trip of equal or superior value (the client must cover the price difference). If the alternative is of lower value, the difference must be refunded.
We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to adverse meteorological conditions or force majeure.
Each tour requires a minimum number of participants to operate. If we do not reach this minimum, we reserve the right to cancel the tour. An alternative tour or a full refund will be offered to the client.
We will endeavour to inform clients with as much notice as possible of any changes or cancellations.
Liability
The organizer and retailer are responsible for contract fulfilment, even if third parties provide services. They are not liable if issues are due to the client, unforeseeable third-party actions, or unavoidable events.
Itineraries
We endeavour to offer all tours according to the published itinerary. However, for operational reasons and/or where services are provided by third parties, it may be necessary to amend the timings or order of a tour. Timings, especially the return time, are approximate and can vary according to traffic, weather conditions etc.
Some of the included activities are not exclusive to Jon’s Tours. In such cases it is possible that the guides may not speak English. Where this is the case, it will be indicated in the tour description. Your Jon’s Tours leader will endeavour to provide translations wherever possible and practical, but for operational reasons this cannot be guaranteed.
Meeting Times and Points
Clients should be at the advised meeting point at least 10 (ten) minutes before the stated time of departure. It will not be possible to wait for latecomers. Clients arriving late to the meeting point will be considered as no-shows and will not be refunded.
Age Range
Our tours are designed for adults and are open to over 16’s only.
Accommodation (for multi-day tours)
Hotel services and meal plans are as specified on the website. The hotel name will be advised with the confirmation of the tour. Check-in is normally between 1–3 PM, and check-out between 11 AM–1 PM. Prices are based on two people sharing a room. Single rooms may be available on request and at a supplement. Prices for multi-day tours will be confirmed at the time of booking and may vary according to hotel availability.
Credit Cards
Most hotels require a credit card. Consumers must settle extras and can request cancellation of authorization. Jon’s Tours are not liable for credit card issues.
