Join us for a memorable 3-day, 2-night journey through some of the most picturesque and historic corners of eastern Spain. This small-group getaway blends natural beauty, Roman history, charming villages, and modernist architecture – all at a relaxed pace.

Day 1
We begin with a visit to the coastal town of Peñíscola, where entry to the stunning cliff-top castle is included. After some free time to explore the town, we head to the Ebro Delta for a guided river cruise and a visit to the Ecomuseum. In the evening, we’ll arrive in Tarragona and check in at our centrally located hotel. You’ll have the option to join the group for dinner at a local restaurant (not included).

Day 2
After breakfast, join an optional orientation walk with your trip leader, or upgrade to a guided tour with a licensed local guide (available for a supplement). The rest of the day is free for you to explore Tarragona at your own pace – wander through its remarkable Roman ruins, browse local shops, or even visit the nearby Port Aventura theme park (tickets not included). In the evening, return to the hotel and relax after a day of discovery.

Day 3
After breakfast, we visit the vibrant town of Reus, birthplace of Antoni Gaudí – the architect behind many of Barcelona’s most iconic buildings, including the Sagrada Família and Park Güell. After an orientation walk, we’ll visit the Gaudí Centre (entry included), where interactive exhibits bring his life and work to life. You’ll then have free time to explore Reus and enjoy the modernist architecture, visit the museums or sample some of the local vermouth. After lunch in one of the city’s many restaurants (not included), we head back to Valencia for an early evening arrival
